The themes that are covered in the adult guidance are instructing immigrants, training in companies/a working life focus, special learners, involving the citizen in the design of the guidance services, targeted recruitment work and electronic services. It is important that these themes that overlap the whole development program of adult guidance are taken into account when building local networks and service practices for guidance. In addition to these, the intention is to create discussion on the development and establishment of networked collaboration between different administrative sectors and actors.

In order to share information and experiences with areas all around the Finland and on a national level regarding the development work and the themes, the activities can be developed together; some national work groups around these themes have already been created and more will be created.

The discussion and development work in the work groups will be made visible in the discussion forum of Opin Ovi

Work groups

• Special learners: the meetings will be arranged as a collaboration between the Adult guidance coordination project and the local projects of Opin Ovi
• Electronic services: the meetings of the groups will be arranged by the NUOVE project
• Collaboration with working life and training in companies: the theme work group also includes the theme of targeted recruitment, the project in charge being From Urabaari Onward
• Multicultural guidance and instructing immigrants: meetings will be designed together with the ALPO support structure (instructing immigrants in Finland and developing their skills)
